Worms crawls into the Android Market

Everybody’s favorite spineless creatures have found their way onto the Android operating system. The classic turn-based strategy game, Worms, has just been released by EA on the Android operating system. Now everybody with an Android phone can bring their squishy little violent friends with them wherever they go. Besides the regular modes where you use a team of worms to eliminate the opposing worm teams, new modes such as puzzle, racing and banzai have been added to the game as well, giving it even more replayability. The games have been optimized for Android and the worms look just as good as their console/PC counterparts albeit on a smaller screen. The all-too familiar voice acting from the previous Worms games are also included in this release, so old-time fans should feel at home. Worms is available now for $3 on the Android Market.
