Windows Phone 7 now available for the HTC HD2

For everyone who was complaining about how Windows Phone 7 should be able to run on the phone, you can finally put those complaints aside because the has finally arrived – Windows Phone 7 can now be installed on your HTC HD 2 phone. The Dark Forces Team have finally cracked the OS and brought it over to the classic Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. So if you’re one of those people who refuse to throw out your HD2 in hopes that you’ll get Windows Phone 7 on your device, your wish has come true. Apparently the ROM flashing is incredibly easy to do, and is obtainable online for free. Some features such as Windows Live and the Marketplace aren’t working, but As usual, if you’re messing with your phone, make sure you back up your device and know what you’re doing before attempting anything.
