Windows Marketplace hits 6000 apps
Keeping track of the Windows Marketplace’s progress since it hit 5,000 apps 2 weeks ago, the Windows Marketplace now has 6,000 apps to offer to all Windows Phone 7 users. Talk about consistent. With paychecks going out to app developers this month, there should be some very happy faces in the WP7 community. Windows Marketplace now surpasses the unofficial amount of webOS apps available. Their next target to beat would be the BlackBerry App World with 18,000 apps and the Ovi Store with 25,000 apps. At this rate, it looks like they’ll achieve it in no time – let’s just hope the fire doesn’t burn out. What apps are you still waiting for to arrive on the Windows Marketplace?
