Video footage and pictures of Sony Ericsson Xperia arc online

The folks over at GSM arena have managed to get their hands on Sony Ericsson’s sexy new curved phone, the Xperia arc and have posted photos and a video of it online. From their reports, the device sure sounds as sexy as the official shots and press release states it to be. Packing a 4.2″ screen on a curved body that is only 8.7mm thick in the center apparently gives it the illusion of being smaller than it really is. The Xperia arc runs on Android Gingerbread (hooray!) with Sony Ericsson’s familiar TimeScape UI – hopefully this won’t hamper any update processes in the future. It has been reported that performance was snappy and the phone runs much better than the previous Xperia phones, so it definitely is a step up for Sony Ericsson on this device.
