Verizon iPhone trade-in now includes AT&T iPhones

Remember the post we had about Verizon allowing their customers to trade in recently purchased phones on their network in order to get some cash back for the new iPhone 4? It looks like Verizon will be taking in more than just phones on their own network – to be specific, the AT&T iPhone. Verizon has mentioned that they will be offering AT&T customers the option to trade in their current iPhones for some cash (to pay for early termination fees perhaps?). Verizon will be accepting the iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS and 4 from AT&T if you’re planning to trade it in to get with Big Red. Sure you’ll be able to sell your iPhone online for a much better price, but Verizon’s option gives you a hassle-free way to get rid of your AT&T iPhone without you having to deal with strange people you might meet through an online sale. The prices Verizon are offering for the AT&T iPhones are listed after the break:
