The Daily iPad newspaper delayed several weeks

If you’ve been patiently waiting for a new reading experience on the iPad, the bad news is that The Daily, Rupert Murdoch’s iPad-only newspaper, has been delayed, according to sources. While it was previously rumored to be launched on January 19^th, the newspaper has apparently been pushed back in order to help Apple prepare its iTunes subscription plans. The app has apparently been ready to launch and was in a dry run phase where editors would write for a test audience. While the delay is definitely undesirable for the end user, the good news is that it’ll only be delayed by several weeks, instead of months.
