Tegra Zone for Android will only offer high-end games
The Tegra 2 chip has been the in the spotlight ever since it was announced on the world’s first dual-core phone, the LG Optimus 2X. Now we’ve just learnt that NVIDIA will be launching a new app store for the Android platform. Called the Tegra Zone, this app store will only offer the high-end apps that will take advantage of the Tegra 2 processor. Users can watch previews HD trailers, and high resolution screenshots to help users locate these high-end apps. After an app is selected, the Tegra Zone will use the Android market to wrap up the purchase. It will be awhile before the full potential of the Tegra 2 chip is utilized, but the Tegra Zone sounds like a good place to start. What do you think of an app store dedicated just to apps that support the Tegra?
