After the stories of a lawsuit headed their way, and rumors about Samsung demanding money from carriers for Android updates, it looks like Froyo (Android 2.2) is finally making its way over to the Samsung Vibrant phones on T-Mobile. And it’s not going to be “soon” but a definite tomorrow! According to a statement today from T-Mobile’s CMO, the delicious Android update will start rolling out to T-Mobile Vibrants starting January 21. Sure it’s way overdue, and a lot of people have already given up on waiting, but T-Mobile finally pulled through in the end. Better late than never right? As usual, the updates will be staggered and sent out in batches, so if you are one of the lucky ones, who get it first, do let us know!
