After receiving a lot of negative feedback from their existing users, T-Mobile UK has decided that they won’t be putting the new data cap into effect anymore – at least for existing users. The new data cap will take effect for new customers and upgrading customers. Good news for those of you staying on your plan, but bad news for those upgrading and new subscribers who were thinking of getting a T-Mobile line. A 3GB data cap reduced to just 500MB comes as a huge blow, especially for consumers who have been used to using 3GB of data a month – cutting their data intake down to 500MB will a huge challenge, and probably not something they would want to go through.
