Sprint Epic 4G Froyo update under heavy testing

After T-Mobile announced that they will be bringing Froyo (Android 2.2) to their Samsung Galaxy S phones tomorrow, Sprint posted a tweet telling their customers that their Epic 4G Froyo update will be here as soon as possible. Their reason for the delay? They are doing rigorous testing to ensure quality experience with the update. It’s funny how one carrier announces an update is coming, and suddenly the other carriers feel the need to console their customers about the status of the update – when they’ve already had more than half a year to work on it. Kudos to T-Mobile for not being the last one at the Galaxy S Froyo party.
