Satarii Star crowdfunded iPhone accessory tracks you

If you’re used to filming yourself with non-professional gear, you’ll probably know that it’s a pain to have the camera track you as you move about the office. Now the folks at Satarii might have a cheap solution to your problem – the Satarii Star. The Satarii Star is a dock for your device that allows you to place a tiny 1” x 2” marker on yourself and have it track you as you move about your room, ensuring that you won’t have to worry about moving out of the frame.

The company is currently depending on crowdfunding in order to turn this device into a reality and it already has a working prototype and a prototype of what the final product will look like. While a tracking system is nothing new, Satarii is looking to sell this dock for around $200, which hopefully is cheap enough to ensure that it won’t break the bank.
