Samsung Omnia II Android 2.1 port almost fully functional

For those of you who still have your Omnia II phone lying around, great news for you if you’re interested in giving it a new breath of life. A working port of Android 2.1 has been ported over to the WinMo phone and most of the features are working properly – this includes voice functions, WiFi, the GPS, FM radio and access to the Android Market! How great is that? There still are some bugs that need to be fixed, but all in all it’s a working build of Android that can be used as an everyday phone.
