2011 seems like it could be a good year for many companies out there. Following news that Motorola is looking to ship around 800,000 Android-powered XOOM tablets, reports are now in that RIM is looking to ship as many as 1 million BlackBerry PlayBook tablets for the March launch. A big launch might go a long way to helping the company achieve that significant milestone and it would also help RIM enter the cutthroat tablet scene with a bang. When the PlayBook is launched, it will only be available with Wi-Fi, though a 3G version should follow not too long after that, not to mention that there is also a 4G PlayBook from Sprint too.
