Notion Ink Adam torn apart by FCC

Notion Ink’s Android tablet, Adam, was only recently approved by the FCC and then shipped out to its customers not long after. The FCC has recently published the photographs of the device after the tear down it had to go through (to get its approval). The photos show how the insides of the Adam look like and boy, it isn’t pretty. The insides of the tablet look messy, and a lot of it looks like it was assembled by hand. Well, it’s hard to expect something as well-built as the iPad knowing that Notion Ink is a small startup company, and this is their first product. After all, if the tablet works as promised, what’s on the inside shouldn’t matter right? Maybe future versions of the Adam tablet will be better built compared to the current version. How important is the inside of a device to you if you’re never going to see it? Head over to the FCC if you’d like to see more images of the tear down.
