Notion Ink Adam not vaporware after all

The Notion Ink Adam Android tablet that was the center of a lot of controversy prior to CES 2011 has finally shed all the negativity surrounding it. True to their promise, the folks at Notion Ink showed up at the Consumer Electronics Show this year with their Adam tablet in hand – and it seems like everybody who took the time to use the tablet have been impressed by it. Especially with the Adam’s hardware – from the dual-core processor that keeps things running smoothly to the Pixel Qi screen that works extremely well both indoors and outdoors, the Android tablet feels well-built and is comfortable to hold as well. The main gripe that people have with the tablet is its somewhat confusing interface and lack of official Android Market which Notion Ink state they will get when Honeycomb arrives. But for now it looks like the small start-up from India has a winner in its hands. They have to do is figure out a better distribution channel to get the device out to everywhere in the world. Are you excited about the Notion Ink Adam?
