Motorola releases Xoom Super Bowl teaser

In conjunction with the hype for the upcoming Super Bowl, Motorola has released a new teaser advert for their upcoming Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) tablet, the Motorola Xoom. Once again, poking fun at Apple (their main competitor is the iPad after all), the YouTube video basically shows a shot of space, a planet, and it just pushes the features of the Motorola Xoom towards the screen- “more speed, more flexibility, and more freedom – it’s time to explore.” While all those descriptions are without a doubt suitable for describing the Xoom, the “more freedom” doesn’t really match Motorola’s stance on rooting and custom ROMs especially after the whole fiasco they had a few weeks ago. Regardless, the Xoom is one impressive piece of hardware that we’d like to see more of and we can’t wait ’til it gets released. Hit the break to watch the Xoom Super Bowl teaser:
