Some folks might think that that the Droid X is lacking a little processing grunt, especially since we’ve seen dual-core devices over at CES 2011. While the phone won’t be getting a new processor, word is out that a new version of the phone is headed to China, labeled as the ME811 and features an OMAP 3630 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The processor itself is the same as what the original Droid X uses, and the phone itself is pretty much the same, featuring a 4.3-inch display, 512MB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera. Perhaps Motorola is preparing a firmware update that will bump the processor speed on existing Droid X phones up too.
