LG’s upcoming dual-core Android phone, the LG Optimus 2X was recently unveiled to us at CES but wasn’t announced when it will be hitting our stores, though previous rumors have pointed to a February/March release date. While it’ll still be at least a month before we find out, Expansys has already put the phone up for pre-order on their website, so folks in UK can start booking their devices now if they want to get their hands on it before everyone else (except the Koreans since they’ve already launched the device there). With the European folks getting the Optimus 2X on February 21, we’re pretty sure that it’ll arrive on our shores soon. In the meantime if you’d like you could pre-order the device from Expansys for about $770, but the lack of 3G bands compatible with our networks could mean that you’ll be surfing the web at EDGE speeds.
