If the rumors that we’ve been hearing are accurate, Apple’s next-generation iPad is almost ready and now a new rumor is busy making rounds, claiming that the iPad 2 will be released in the US in early April, either on the 2nd or the 9th. It also claims that the tablet will be a US exclusive for a few months before it’s launched internationally later in July. Such a move would follow the pattern set by the original iPad, so it doesn’t sound too far fetched.
The rumor also claims that Apple will be selling the new iPad directly for six months before retailer partners such as Walmart and Best Buy get to offer it. In case you’re still confused as to what to expect from the iPad 2, check out our rumor roundup.
