When Apple improved on the iPhone’s display, the fruity company doubled the resolution from 480 x 320 up to 960 x 640, branding it a Retina Display. Now everybody is wondering if the iPad 2 will feature an upgraded display too. While recent discoveries might hint otherwise, the smart money is still on the iPad 2 to have an improved display and the latest version of Apple’s iBooks app also adds fuel to that fire. Folks have discovered that the bookmark icon on the app includes one that has been doubled in pixels and labeled the iPadx2. Of course, it’s still not an official confirmation that the iPad 2 will feature a Retina Display, but why else would Apple want to include a bookmark icon that features an improved resolution?
