It’s always hard to guess what Apple will be including in its next-generation hardware but now Richard Doherty from Envisioneering Group has claimed that engineers are already working on integrating an NFC chip into Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Let’s not forget that Google’s Nexus S currently features an NFC chip, and folks are speculating that NFC will be an important technology in 2011, so it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to hear that Apple is planning to use NFC technology in its future devices. Do you think that the iPhone 5 and iPad 2 will feature NFC technology?
