This is actually a pretty wild rumor, so we’d suggest that you take it with a pinch of salt. According to the rumor, HTC is gearing up to announce two Facebook-branded phones next month, which probably points at Mobile World Congress. The two phones are slated to be high-end devices and will feature the Facebook branding and color scheme and also be powered by a modified version of Android. Features weren’t mentioned in detail, but it was said that users will be able to see Facebook messages and news feed directly on the home screen, not to mention being able to call or email friends from information stored on their Facebook page. We previously had some hints of a Facebook phone from INQ, so it’s not like rumors of a Facebook phone haven’t surfaced before.
