HTC Thunderbolt allows simultaneous voice and data on Verizon 3G
Some interesting news has popped up concerning HTC’s upcoming 4G LTE Android phone on Verizon’s network. According to the customer training manual given to Verizon employees, the HTC Thunderbolt will be able to handle voice and data at the same time on Verizon’s 3G network. It is not mentioned how or why this is possible, but it’s supposed to be because of the phone’s hardware. No other phone on Verizon’s network has pulled it off, but now it seems that HTC and Verizon have figured out a way to overcome it. How important is having voice and data at the same time for you? Does this feature make the Thunderbolt anymore enticing than it already is?
