Rumors of a new HTC device have surfaced online, courtesy of Digitimes – the folks who brought us the rumors about the HTC Scribe. According to them, the HTC Flyer will be a larger version of the HTC Desire, except that it will be running on Android 2.3 and will be launching in March. Apparently the Flyer will get the upgrade to Honeycomb (Android 3.0) along with the HTC Android tablets that will be launched in June (HTC Scribe perhaps?). Since this is the first time we’ve ever heard of it, we can’t say if it’s true or not, but if the Flyer does exist, one point to Digitimes for the news and another point to consumers for having one more Android device to choose from this March. Hopefully the Mobile World Congress next month should bring us more details about the HTC Flyer.
