Gingerbread spotted on iPhone 3G

A hacker has managed to port Android 2.3 onto an iPhone 3G and shot a video to prove it. We can see it definitely works, but as to whether you would want it on your iPhone 3G you might want to reconsider – performance is abysmal and until it gets optimized to work on the iPhone 3G hardware, you’re better off with iOS on your device (at least for now).
