FaceTime, Camera and PhotoBooth icons confirmed to be in the iPad 2
With the release of iOS 4.3 Beta 2, new details of the iPad 2 have surfaced online, and this time it’s the confirmation of the FaceTime, Camera, and PhotoBooth icon on the iPad 2’s home screen. Since the icons have been confirmed to appear in the next-generation iPad, this means that we’ll be seeing a front facing camera on the next iPad– nobody is going to FaceTime with the rear camera, right? (Assuming the device has a rear camera). This pretty much confirms early rumors about the iPad joining all the other iOS devices with their ability to video chat over FaceTime. Sounds like good news for those of you looking to get your hands on an iPad 2. What other functions do you hope will be discovered before the official announcement?
