Seems that Microsoft isn’t the only one who has to worry about Apple’s dominance in the mobile scene. While the mobile enterprise scene would normally be a stronghold of RIM’s BlackBerry, it has been confirmed that the Deutsche Bank Equity Research will be ditching the BlackBerry in favor Apple’s iPhone, thanks to a successful trial using Good Technology’s secure email app. The company tested the app’s compatibility with Microsoft Exchange Server, delivering AES 192-encrypted email and calendar data to employees and apparently the iPhone offered an easier and faster solution when compared to RIM’s BlackBerry. Considering that AT&T previously announced that 40 percent of its iPhone sales were to enterprise customers, we think that RIM definitely has something to worry about.
