Crytek to develop an iOS game

It looks like Crytek is gearing up to break into the iOS game business. After the success of Epic Games’ Infinity Blade on the operating system, who could blame them? High-quality, high-budget games are going to be more common now since developers have created tools to maximize the ability of the iPhone and iPad recently. Crytek has posted job openings for a developer who is capable of designing and developing complex, integrated iPhone and iPad applications. In case you didn’t know, Crytek are the folks behind the highly successful Crysis and Far Cry games that are known for their spectacular graphics and are used to benchmark the graphic capabilities of desktop PCs. I can’t wait to see what they can do on the iPod/iPad.
