Remember when Sprint dropped a hint about launching a 4G tablet in 2011? Sprint has finally revealed the mysterious device. Sprint will be the first carrier to offer RIM’s highly anticipated PlayBook when it goes on sale this summer. The QNX tablet will be arriving on their network and it will support its 4G WiMAX connection. So for those of you holding out to get your hands on a 4G tablet, you might want to wait for the upcoming offering on Sprint. The BlackBerry 4G PlayBook will feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Adobe Mobile AIR, HTML 5 support, and WiFi. Let’s hope they also release a WiFi only version for people who aren’t interested in getting another data plan just for their tablet.
