You might think that your lack of expensive equipment is the reason behind the boring home movies that you’ve been filming, but a prize-winning South Korean director, Park Chan-wook, has filmed his latest film using 10 Apple iPhone 4s, three of which were controlled by himself. In case you doubt this director’s credentials, he won the Cannes Grand Prix in 2004 for one of his films.

According to him, movies that he previously directed were meticulously planned ahead and shot just as pictured. When shooting with the iPhone, the film felt free, which hopefully resulted in some nice shots. There are already plenty of homemade videos using cell phones, but how often do you see a high-profile director do such a thing?
