Android 2.2.2 update for Google Nexus One rolled out

A new update for the Google Nexus One has just been released – and no, it’s not Gingerbread – instead it’s just a minor update to Android 2.2. It is only 558kb in size, and it is unspecified what exactly has been fixed, but the change log states “This system update from Google contains important bug fixes.” Hopefully the update is to prepare the system for a Gingerbread update. We can only cross our fingers and hope so. Head here if you’d like to download the update manually and apply It yourself, if not wait for the OTA update to reach you.
