All T-Mobile MyTouch 3G owners to get Froyo

When Android 2.2 arrived for the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G last year, many users were left out simply because they didn’t have the original MyTouch 3G – they either had the 3.5mm headphone jack or limited edition Fender editions. Well it looks like T-Mobile and HTC have worked out the kinks in the Froyo update to bring it to all MyTouch 3G users. The date has been announced as January 12, so mark the day on your calendar and get ready for a whole bundle of goodies. In addition to the Android 2.2 updates, it will bring a new fully integrated Exchange client, a Faves Gallery, new home screen features, Gmail app enhancements, camera improvements and more.
