If you’re the kind of person who mistreats your phone (or just happen to drop it a lot) you might want to look for third-party insurance to cover your device if you’re planning to purchase the Nexus S. T-Mobile has issued a statement saying that the Nexus S is not eligible for Premium Handset Protection. Since they offered it for the original Nexus One you would think that they would offer it for the Nexus S as well, but it isn’t the case. Looks like you’ll have to take care of this phone like a baby if you do get it. Is the lack of carrier insurance a deal breaker for you when purchasing a phone?
