Don’t you just hate looking for a parking spot on the weekends? Especially when there’s a festive occasion coming up and everybody is doing their last minute shopping? Parker, by Streetline, is the app to solve that problem. Parker works by monitoring real-time parking information collected from its network of ultra-low power wireless sensors located in parking spaces, which is transmitted to users of the Parker app. This will allow users to know how many parking spots are left in an area before they even drive to it, and waste time making circles around a full parking lot. The free parking spaces even show up on a map, allowing users to locate them and park on those spots. Sounds like a great idea- it just needs to cover a wider area if Streetline plans to sell more copies of the app. Currently only covering Hollywood but with plans to expand to the rest of the country, Parker is available now for only $1.99 on the iTunes App Store. Give it a go and let us know what you think.
