After a recent controversial tweet about how T-Mobile isn’t 4G, it’s good to know that despite publishing arrogant tweets, Sprint has kept their promise. Today marks the launch of their 4G WiMAX network in the San Francisco Bay Area. So for the folks who are living in San Francisco, San Jose, Palo Alto and Oakland – be prepared for browsing speeds touted to be up to 10 times faster than regular 3G networks (of course you’ll need a 4G-enabled phone). Of course if you can wait, you might want to check out the upcoming HTC EVO SHIFT 4G that’s been rumored to make an appearance in January. We’ll let your wallets decide.
