Windows Phone 7 users in the US who haven’t done their Christmas shopping (despite tomorrow being Christmas Eve) should take note of this app that dropped by to save your life (and wallet). Called ShopSavvy, this WP7 app allows you to compare the prices of a product with shops all over the country. All you have to do is scan the barcode of the item and ShopSavvy will handle the rest. If you find somewhere cheaper, a few taps on the shop’s name will bring up a map that will lead you to its location where hopefully whatever you wanted will still be on sale. ShopSavvy is available now on the Windows Marketplace. Take note, that at the moment it only compares prices with US shops and websites, so users of the app not in the country won’t find it very useful.
