Samsung rumored to release Windows 7 tablet named Gloria

Samsung will be expanding their range of tablets early next year according to a report online by Blogeee, a French tech blog. The new tablet, rumored to be called the Samsung Gloria will be a 10″ tablet that runs on Windows 7. It will also feature a slide out QWERTY keyboard (doesn’t it remind you of the Epic 4G?) to aid you with text input and possibly navigation since Windows 7 is not designed for tablet usage. The device is rumored to be announced early next year and will be made available between March and April 2011. It’ll be interesting to see how a desktop operating system will work on a tablet, especially with its limited battery life etc. I guess Samsung will just have to let us take a gander at the tablet before we jump to any conclusions.
