Samsung Omnia 7 pictured at the FCC
Samsung’s successor to the Omnia is finally making its way to our shores. Recently spotted at the FCC was the Samsung GT-i8700, or more commonly known as the Omnia 7. Already available in Europe, the Windows Phone 7 device will be making its way over to AT&T’s network, seeing how it sports GSM/EDGE 850/1900 (AT&T frequencies) as well as WDCMA bands II and V. The FCC photos also confirm what we already know about the phone- a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, Bluetooth and WiFi. The phone also features Sandisk Flash Memory that’s actually soldered onto the device’s mainboard rather than as a microSD card like other WP7 phones. It looks like we’ll soon be seeing the same WP7 devices all over the world. Who’s looking forward to the Omnia 7?
