Samsung and LG, the two Korean electronics manufacturers are set to unveil their latest tablets at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show next week according to some rumors online. The good news is bound to make Android fans happy (especially those who have been holding out on getting a tablet); however consumers who bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab might get upset. For Samsung to release a new tablet so soon (the Galaxy Tab hasn’t even been around for more than half a year) would definitely leave a lot of people unhappy especially if they purchased a Tab this holiday season. After all, nobody wants to purchase a device that is replaced is less than a year right? Especially since the new Tab is rumored to come with Android 2.3, people are left wondering if their current Tabs will ever get the upgrade (look at the Galaxy S phones). Will Samsung continue to support the current Tab? LG’s Optimus Pad doesn’t have many details revealed about it, but it’s rumored to run Honeycomb and have a display of 8.9″. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see if there are any official announcements next week. What are your thoughts?
