If there’s one thing that every modern gadget goes through in today’s world, it’s the tear down. If it can be built, it can be taken apart. The Samsung Focus is no exception. The folks at TechRepublic recently took apart a Samsung Focus, photographed and documented the whole process. It’s interesting to note that Samsung uses parts from its competitors (such as the SanDisk 8GB NAND flash RAM instead of their own high performance option) in the creation of the phone. To keep the price of their phone down, they probably had to compromise some hardware options. Would you ever take apart a phone that you own?
