Radical Apple predictions from CCS Insight analyst
An analyst from CCS Insight made some pretty radical predictions about Apple and their upcoming moves for the year 2011. According to Ben Wood, the analyst, Apple will be buying TomTom- to reduce its dependence on Google Maps, Apple will be unveiling the iScreen- a TV that will have an iTunes-connected operating system to run Apple TV, games, and cloud based services on the TV itself, and will launch iPhones with 3D displays. Though I don’t agree with most of his outlandish predictions – it just doesn’t seem like something that Apple would do, but then again it’s Apple we’re talking about. Who would’ve thought they could pull off releasing the first iPhone that was missing so many features that have been already present in other phones at that time?
