Notion Ink Adam mystery feature revealed
The mystery feature stated on the Notion Ink Adam spec page has finally been revealed to the public. In a recent Q & A session by Notion Ink Hacks featuring the CEO of Notion Ink, Rohan Shravan, he mentioned that the mystery feature of the tablet – a trackpad – will come shipped with the device but it won’t be activated at launch. They haven’t figured out a way to get it to work the way they want it to work, so it will be enabled in the future. The trackpad is placed behind the tablet and will allow you to control it without using the touchscreen, which is supposed to make one-handed operation much easier, though it’s questionable how many people could properly hold a 10″ tablet and operate it using one hand. Rohan also provides more details about the Adam tablet- it has protection from root hacks (though we all know the community will just bypass it in a matter of days) and they will be at CES 2011- just not at a dedicated booth. How many of you have pre-ordered the Notion Ink Adam?
