Looks like recent rumors of Nokia teaming up with Microsoft to produce Windows Phone 7 have ruffled some feathers. A Nokia employee, Watts Martin, who is involved in developing LAMP and Django Web at the Finnish company, recently wrote in his blog that the idea of Nokia even considering releasing WP7 phones is “stark raving loony”. He claims that Nokia are as just as controlling as Apple when it comes to their phones and operating systems, and that using WP7 on their phones isn’t going to give them that degree of control. Sounds fair enough, but I’d like to think that anything is possible, and if Nokia does produce WP7 phones in the future I don’t think many people would be opposed to the idea either. What are your thoughts?
