Nexus S To Get Updates OTA, No Need For Kies

Good news for Mac and Linux users out there who are looking forward to getting hold of the freshly-announced Nexus S. A tweet from an Android developer has confirmed that since the phone uses a stock Android build, it’ll support OTA updates, meaning that users won’t have to go through the Samsung Kies desktop management client in order to install software updates. Considering that Samsung Kies isn’t compatible with Mac and Linux, things will be a little more convenient for users.
