A new update for the unlocked HTC Desire has just been made available over the air (OTA). No, it’s not Android 2.3, that day won’t be so soon, but it’s another Froyo (Android 2.2) update instead. This update will bring your Android phone up to version 2.29.405.2. Since there was no change log released, there’s no telling what changes have been made- but if any of you guys have received the update, let us know what’s new. We can only hope that it’s some sort of preparation for the Gingerbread (Android 2.3) update! If you’re on a carrier-locked Desire, there’s no telling when you’ll be getting the update, but let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.
