New iPad 2 rumors surface, January release date?

Some rumors from Japan have surfaced, leaking out some new details about Apple’s upcoming tablet, the iPad 2. Although there has yet to be an official announcement about the iPad’s successor, many people believe that it will be released early next year, to fit in with the yearly release schedule that Apple has been sticking to for their iOS devices. According to the new rumors, the iPad 2 has a smaller bezel, new wide-range speakers and a flat back like the current iPod touch. It will also have a smaller form factor, but will retain the same screen size as the current iPad. The rumor also mentions that the iPad will be shipping in January which seems a little farfetched- but anything could happen. Let’s see if Apple has anything to say at CES in a couple of weeks.
