Forget about waiting for an official announcement from Apple- if you want cloud music on your iPhone, it’s already here. mSpot Music, an app available for free for the iPhone and iPod touch is basically a way to listen to music without transferring it to your computer. All you have to do is download the app to your iOS device, install the desktop client on your PC or Mac, and start uploading your songs to your mSpot Music account. All you have to do with your iPhone or iPod touch is just connect to the mSpot service and stream your music off it. In addition to uploading music files, items such as cover art and playlists can also be uploaded to the mSpot Music cloud to enhance your music listening experience. The service comes with a free 2GB storage which you can use for free, but if you need more, you’ll have to pay a monthly fee of $3.99 a month for 40GB of storage. So if you want to save space on your iOS device and have music at the same time, streaming music off the cloud seems like the way to go.
