Motorola Droid update rolling out this week

We’ve previously mentioned that the original Motorola Droid will be getting an update sometime in December, well it seems that sometime could start today for some of you. Verizon has officially announced that the update will be pushed out this week, and some devices could even be getting the update today. In case you forgot, the update will bring your phone up to 2.2.1 (FRG83D), enhance some of your apps and widgets such as enhances some of your apps and widgets such as Twitter, Amazon, News & Weather, Exchange ActiveSync and Gmail.
