Motorola Droid 2 explodes in a man’s ear and still works

In today’s edition of strange and incredible stories, a man from Dallas claims that his Motorola Droid 2 exploded in his ear while he was making a phone call. Apparently all he heard was a pop on his phone and the next thing he knew- there was blood flowing down the side of his head. A pretty fishy story if you ask me, since in the news report it is noted that the man has no health insurance and he intends to get some compensation from Motorola. Also, the damage to the phone looks like it was caused externally instead of from within, and it looks nothing like an exploded phone. Plus, a phone that still works even after it explodes?
