Motorola DEFY has speaker issues

Published

on

Despite being branded as tough-as-nails, super durable and resistant to almost everything, the Motorla DEFY seems to be suffering from problems unrelated to its build. A lot of people on various forums have been complaining about issues with the ear speaker. Within a few days of owning the device, people have been complaining that the ear speaker has been failing to emit any sounds, so users have been switching to the loudspeaker (a separate speaker) for making calls instead. A quick solution for the meantime, just don’t make any top secret calls unless there’s nobody else in the room. Good thing is, the problem can be sent for repairs/replacing under warranty as usual. It is uncertain whether a huge number of DEFY owners have been affected, and Motorola haven’t made any announcements regarding the issue. Hopefully it is a limited issue, as what good would a robust phone be when you can’t even use it to make calls?
